ΧΕΣ – Extension Service Staff Association

Mission Statement:

The Chi Epsilon Sigma/Extension Service Staff Association fraternity shall maintain the standards and ideals, uphold the morale, prestige and respect of the WVU Cooperative Extension Service staff, develop an effective working relationship and spirit of fraternal fellowship among the present and emeriti employee, and encourage professionalism.

Objectives:

To open lines of communication and to foster a sense of community with Extension among CES/ESSA on-campus and off-campus constituents.
To serve as a liaison for staff concerns to Extension’s Administration on personnel, human resources, and other organizational issues.
To provide an opportunity for current and future decision-making for staff issues.
To disseminate information about and actively solicit needs for professional development and educational opportunities to all Extension Service staff.
To incorporate the sharing of talent and best practices among county and classified staff.
